静脉曲张破裂时，典型症状为突发局部出血，多呈暗红色或鲜红色，出血量因破裂血管大小而异，小血管破裂可表现为局部渗血、淤血，大血管破裂可能出现喷射状出血；破裂部位常伴疼痛、肿胀，若合并感染会有局部红肿、化脓，出血量较大时还可能伴随头晕、心慌等不适。

1.Profusesuperficialhemorrhage:Varicoseveinsaredilated,thin-walledsuperficialvessels,mostcommonlyfoundonthelowerlegs.Whentheyrupture,thedamagedvesselmaybleedheavily—initialbleedingisoftenslowandsteady,butlargerrupturescanleadtoprofuse,uncontrolledbleeding,potentiallycausingiron-deficiencyanemiaorrequiringurgentmedicalcaretohaltbloodloss.
2.Persistentvenousskinulcers:Chronicvenoushypertensionfromvaricoseveinsweakenssurroundingskintissue.Afterarupture,thedamagedareafailstohealproperlyduetopoorbloodcirculation,formingpainfulopenulcers.Theseulcersareslowtorecover,oftenlastingweekstomonths,andarehighlypronetorecurrenceevenafterinitialhealing.
3.Secondarywoundinfections:Theskinrupturebreaksthebody’sprotectivebarrier,allowingbacteriatoinvade.Commoninfectionsincludecellulitisspreadingred,inflamedskinandlocalizedabscesses.Symptomsincludeincreasedpain,warmth,rednessaroundthewound,fever,andchills;severecasesmayrequireintravenousantibiotics.
4.Superficialthrombophlebitis:Ruptureofvaricoseveinscantriggerinflammationinadjacentsuperficialveins,leadingtobloodclotformation.Thisconditioncausestender,red,cord-likeswellingalongtheaffectedvein.Whileusuallynotlife-threatening,itmayraisetheriskofclotsextendingintodeepveins,amoreseriouscomplication.
5.Exacerbationofchronicvenousinsufficiency:Varicoseveinrupturefurtherimpairsvenousbloodflowintheaffectedarea,worseningpre-existingchronicvenousinsufficiency.Thisleadstopersistentswelling,skindiscoloration,anddiscomfortthatmaybecomemoresevereandaffectdailyactivities.
